Welcome
Dr. Ritter holds a B.A. degree in Anthropology from the University of Alabama and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Anthropology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Dr. Ritter's specialty is bioarchaeology, the study of human remains from archaeological sites. She has worked on archaeological sites in Illinois, Arizona, Washington, and Barbados. In addition to teaching Introductory Anthropology and Archaeology courses at Northwest Florida State College, Dr. Ritter is an instructional services coordinator at the Collegiate High School.
